At James Bryan Opticians the health of your eyes is our number one priority. Our thorough eye examinations not only check your vision but allow us to spot any potential problems at their earliest stage.
We also work closely with local NHS providers to offer private diabetic retinopathy screening, minor eye condition service and post cataract assessments.
EMERGENCY EYECARE
We are proud to be a part of the NHS and provide emergency eyecare for those times when you need extra reassurance.
If you’ve noticed a sudden change to your vision, are experiencing pain, discomfort, flashes and floaters or any other symptom that’s concerning you, get in touch with our friendly team who can book an emergency eye appointment for you with our optometrist. This service is provided on behalf of the NHS.
We are also one of the only local opticians to provide a Minor Eye Conditions Service for dry, watery, red, itchy or sore eyes among other symptoms; and local GPs frequently refer patients to us for optical care.
DIABETES, CATARACT AND GLAUCOMA SCREENING
During our eye examinations we use advanced equipment to identify any areas of concern. Our optometrist can refer you to a specialist for further investigation and a diagnosis if required.
We work with local hospitals and clinics to provide referral and monitoring services for glaucoma, diabetes and cataracts.
